What portafilter size does this fit?
The tamper is sized at 58.35mm, which fits all standard 58mm portafilter baskets. This covers the majority of home and prosumer espresso machines, including Breville, De’Longhi, Rancilio, and La Marzocco. If you are unsure, check the basket diameter listed in your machine’s specs.
Does the ripple base affect the tamp?
The precision ripple geometry on the base improves even distribution across the puck before pressure is applied. It is not a replacement for good technique but it does reduce channelling caused by uneven distribution. The flat profile still delivers a standard, consistent tamp.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the base clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth after each session. For deeper cleaning, hand wash with mild detergent and dry immediately. Avoid leaving it wet, which can affect the finish over time. Not dishwasher safe.
